How it works
The calculator computes the number of calendar days between today and the target date. It also converts the total into weeks and remaining days for easier comprehension. If the target date is in the past, it shows elapsed time instead. This is useful for tracking deadlines, planning events, or counting down to holidays and milestones.
Practical example
If today is April 11, 2026 and your target is December 31, 2026, there are 264 days remaining — that is 37 weeks and 5 days. For a wedding on June 15, there would be 65 days or about 9 weeks and 2 days to prepare.
